Each year EPA honors the best work of its members through an annual contest. Entry forms for your 2009 work are now available for download, in two formats -- PDF and Word. You'll need to be logged in to get the forms (just one of many great reasons to have a registered username and password with the EPA site). Entries are due Jan. 8, 2010, so get cracking!
There are several category changse for this year's awards:
- "Student writer of the year" -- Publication members of EPA who publish an article written by a student may enter it in this new category.
- 'Best Blog (noncorporate)" -- This new category is open to our associate members and to individual staffers who work with EPA member organizations.
- "Cause of the Year" -- This year's EPA focus was "God as Creator." To accommodaate publications that may have printed something in late 2008 in anticipation of Charles Darwin's birthday, we will accept articles published from October 2008 thorugh the end of 2009.
- "Original Art" -- The category has been split into two sections, one for traditional illustration and one for mixed media. Read the Higher Goals category description document for details.
Contest entry forms are posted in our "Downloads" area, available under the "Resources" tab from any EPA Web site page. Here's a link to that section:
